Kelly Christian
“Kool Whip” Age: Old enough to drink, but too young to collect social security! Instrumentation: Vocalist, Guitar, Saxophone, Keyboards, Harmonica and Recorder
I started singing as soon as I figured out it was something that came easily to me. I did not know I was good at it, but I noticed in grade school that I was getting all the solos and lead roles in school musicals. As for big names I’ve worked with, there are too many to mention! How about Mugs Cain for starters! The producer I worked with recently on my solo album played guitar for Whitney Houston and Bob Dylan…

Any advice or theories on life?
Stay close to your roots. Family should always come first. Try to stay positive; laugh and smile as often as you can. And most of all, keep things as simple as possible. Life is simple. We often complicate things by cluttering up our world with things, people and situations that are inconsequential.

What’s the best part about being a rock star?
First and foremost, I am blessed to get paid for doing what I LOVE to do! The other perks...going to bed late, waking up late, free stuff, backstage passes, getting to dress up in crazy outfits and wear even crazier make-up! Male groupies.... but that was BEFORE I met my soulmate Chris!
What’s the worst part about being a rock star?
Dieting and exercising.... but what’s worse is when I cheat on my diet and exercise - which I do all the time now because the casino's Poker Deli makes such good buffalo wings, tuna melts, and fries! Ah.... my favorite post-show meal!
Most embarrassing moment?
Uh.... didn’t you see the tumble I took over my monitor on the Lounge stage recently? I got a nice bruise on the inside of my right leg and another below my left knee!

Tommy “Mugs” Cain
“Mugs” Age: Old enough Instrumentation: Drums, percussion, pots and pans
I¹ve been playing the drums since I was 11 years old, but my musical career really began in high school playing with my older brother Jonathan. After graduating from high school our band had gone from a duo to a six-piece show band and we hit the road touring the Midwest and Southeast. While on the road we recorded an album¹s worth of songs that my brother and the band had written and soon landed a deal in LA. In LA, the Jonathan Cain band signed a recording contract and released our first and only album Windy City Breakdown. Since then I have recorded and toured the US and abroad with Michael Bolton for 15 years, spent 3 months touring Australia and New Zealand with the Divinyls, recorded an album with my own group The Railbirds which had a number one single in Sweden, toured and recorded multiple solo albums with my brother Jonathan, played on a title soundtrack produced by David Foster for the film If Looks Could Kill and co-wrote and played on songs for the The Terminator. I have been very fortunate in my career to have recorded and toured with artists Eric Martin from Mr. Big, Sammy Hagar, The Divinyls, Jonathan Cain, Journey, The Thompson Twins, and Grammy Award-winners Michael Bolton and David Foster.
I have played in sold out concerts and tours with: INXS, Heart, Kenny G., Celine Dion, Michael Bolton, Journey, and Wynona Judd. I have also appeared on The American Music Awards, American Bandstand, Soul Train, Showtime at The Apollo, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show and in the Australian concert film, Australian Made.

Any advice or theories on life?
My theory: Change is the only thing you can count on. Life is constantly unfolding before us. Things you may not understand today, may reveal themselves to you tomorrow. And the things you are so absolutely sure of, can ultimately prove to be wrong. However, anything that stops growing, is no longer alive……SO NEVER STOP GROWING./ My advice: Be grateful, not hateful!

I was immersed in music from conception as my mom is a musician, but I officially began playing in the 5th grade school band. By 14 I was performing in the breakout nightclub scene of Omaha, Nebraska. Fast forward to 2008 and I’ve sung, danced and played around the world, written and performed songs for Scooby-Doo & Home Alone, appeared in Never Been Kissed with Drew Barrymore, completely soaked myself in the Hollywood Rock and Roll scene and having a ball with all of it.

Any advice or theories on life?
It’s all good. If you’re above ground and walkin’ around, everything else is just a point of view. I feel like anyone lucky enough to find themselves in the United States of America has hit the jackpot and should count their blessings. Red White & Blue baby! Oh, so much more to say, but you’ll have to wait for the book!
